I went to see The Tree of Life last night. I still don't know how to rate the movie (because the middle was beyond excellent and the rest of it was like the Discovery channel on crack) but Brad Pitt said one thing that still resonates with me.
"You're all I have. You're all I want to have."
He said this to his son character, but I think it can be applied in various situations. I tried a couple of type treatments.
I've been single for a while now and I think I'm beginning to forget why I've been purposefully staying away from relationships. It is very unfortunate that I am becoming more and more of a hopeless romantic recently, because in my adult life, I put a lot of effort into becoming the exact opposite.
